◾️Rather a number of those that are attributed to Knowledge and Fiqh and Da'wah became prey and victims to those doubts due to their weakness of their insight regarding the path of the Wrongdoers, and because of this harms the extent that only Allah knows take place.

As it's the case that not every one that knows the schemes and doubts of the people of Innovations, is proficient in warding them and clarifying their invalidity.

For this reason the people of Knowledge and Insight in this are little compared to those attributed to knowledge as a whole across the times.

Ibn-Ul-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said regarding this :

"Not all that find something, and know it, and being firm in it, are able to produce proofs for it and ward damaging doubts regarding it, this is a type, its presence is a type."

"Madaarij As-Saalikeen" (486/3).

So the reality of this call is to mobilize an army to fall into the noose and traps of the people of falsehood, I ask Allah for safety and well-being.
5- Toppling the students of and callers to Allah, those that have become deceived by these means, by opening for them a door to going along with the people of falsehood under the notion of competing with them on Facebook by clarifying the falsehood of the people of falsehood and calling to Allah, thus redirecting away a number of them who used to be taken as examples away from their path, rather:

6- They make promoters out of them for their Fitnah, whilst they don't know, making them fall into the goal of those wrongdoers whilst they think that they are doing something good.

◾️This used to be, and still is, the evidence that is used by many that burst through door of Politics and Voting and made it a means for Da'wah and reaching the point they can implement the legislation as law, by using competing with the people of falsehood for the rulership as an evidence.

-And the claim of many that go on television and make it from the means to do Da'wah, claiming that they are competing with the people of falsehood in what they are calling to in the satellite channels, and the likes.

So how can you justify for yourself O caller to Allah, under the notion of Da'wah, to make -or to have someone make for you- a Facebook link or a YouTube link, for your Muslim brothers and the students of knowledge, and to direct them to an audio of yours or an article, then cause them -and this is a must- to fall into viewing indecency and immorality, and to burst into Facebook which is full of doubts of the people of atheism and disbelief and misguidance..

Is your article and your audio more valuable than the creed of your brothers and their religion?!

Don't you fear that you will obtain the punishment of Allah, due to what you will reap of the sins of those that you guided towards these calamities?!

Allah the most high said:

(لِيَحْمِلُوٓا۟ أَوْزَارَهُمْ كَامِلَةً يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِۙ وَمِنْ أَوْزَارِ ٱلَّذِينَ يُضِلُّونَهُم بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍۗ أَلَا سَآءَ مَا يَزِرُونَ)
"They will bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection, and also of the burdens of those whom they misled without knowledge. Evil indeed is that which they shall bear!"
[An-Nahl:25]

And in Muslim on the authority of Jareer bin Abdillah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet ﷺ said:

"Whoever starts a bad Sunnah in Islam, and others act upon it after them, they will have the likes of the sins of those that acted upon it written for them, and it won't decrease anything of their sins".

And in Muslim on the authority of Abu Mas'uud, may Allah be pleased with him, said:

"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

"Whoever guides to good will have the reward of those that do it".

◾️And the principles of the legislation necessitate the impermissibility of these means that lead to the likes of these harms, and many times of its like of what isn't obscured by all those that have sight, let alone insight.
Even though these means - I mean the likes of social media - the basis is that it's permissible, but it containing legislative oppositions which are inescapable from it, make it obligatory to prevent it and to declare it impermissible.

And the means even though it reaches the goal which the legislator takes into consideration but it is not permitted, so the legislator cancels it and doesn't take it into consideration, similarly to how Allah the mighty and majestic prohibited curing by using what is impermissible, even though is reaches it being a cure.

[So it is not appropriate to seek a cure from it from a sickness or an ailment, for indeed even though it has an affect in removing it, but it brings about a greater sickness in the heart with the strength of the vileness which is found in it, thus making the one who is using it as a cure strive to remove the sickness of the body by sickening the heart]. "Zaad-Ul-Ma'aad' (4/141).

◾️It is established in the Islamic legislation that (The means carry the rulings of the aims), but the condition in reaching a praiseworthy goal is that it is using a praiseworthy means, if not than you fall into the principle: The end justifies the means.

◾️Especially in what he relates to calling to Allah the most high, because the way to make Da'wah is clarified in the Book and the Sunnah and the Manhaj of the Salaf, nobody is an authority in the Da'wah making whatever ways they wish permissible even if it contained the likes of great harms the likes of the calamities of Facebook, and its like.

Shaykh Muqbil Al-Waadi'i, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

"We are not placed as figures of authority in the religion of Allah exalted is He, rather it is incumbent that the means is legislated, and we can't say as the communists say:

"The end justifies the means".

Rather we say:

It is incumbent for the means to be legislated, as the Prophet ﷺ used to". End of speech.

◾️If we were to say that the legislative means to make Da'wah weren't available to you except by falling into oppositions, then stay in your house and make Da'wah to those you can of your wives and children, Allah won't hold you to account to what you are not capable of, because for sure what is with Allah isn't obtained through sinning.
◾️The clear evidence point towards that the means of Da'wah are Tawqeefiyyah, and we intend with this the means of teaching and conveying and directing.

By the legislative text of the statement of the most high:

(قُلْ هَٰذِهِۦ سَبِيلِىٓ أَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِۚ عَلَىٰ بَصِيرَةٍ أَنَا۠ وَمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَنِىۖ وَسُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ)
"Say, "This is my way; I invite to Allah with insight, I and those who follow me. And exalted is Allah ; and I am not of those who associate others with Him."
[Yusuf:108]

And the statement of the most high:

(يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ شَٰهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا ۝ وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى ٱللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِۦ وَسِرَاجًا مُّنِيرًا)
"O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner.

And one who invites to Allah, with His permission, and an illuminating lamp.".

[Al-Ahzab:45-46]

So Allah the most high clarified that he sent His Prophets, may the Salaat and Salaam of Allah be upon them, as callers to Him, and that their Da'wah generally and specifically, and the Da'wah of those that take them as a lead; it being legislated is pending to the Legislative permission of Allah before the Da'wah and their way and their means is declared to be legislated.

Shaykh-Ul-Islaam, Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy upon him, said at this verse:

"Whoever calls to Him without His permission has innovated". End of speech from "Iqtidaa Us-Siraatil-Mustaqeem". (2/376)

The Allaamah, Ibn Utheymeen, may Allah have mercy upon him, said at the explanation of this verse:

"That the Da'wah of the Prophet ﷺ is in the manner Allah the most high legislated it, in its how's and in what he is calling to, based upon the statement of the most high:

(بِإِذْنِهِۦ)
"With His permission"

So he is a caller to Allah the most high with His permission, i.e: in accordance to His command and His legislation". End of speech from "Tafseer Surah Al-Ahzaab" (p.343).
And Allah the most high clarified it also in the likes of His statement:

(وَأَنَّ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطِى مُسْتَقِيمًا فَٱتَّبِعُوهُۖ وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ ٱلسُّبُلَ فَتَفَرَّقَ بِكُمْ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ وَصَّىٰكُم بِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُونَ)
"And, [moreover], this is My path, which is straight, so follow it; and do not follow [other] ways, for you will be separated from His way. This has He instructed you that you may become righteous."

[Al-An'am:153]

[This is because the way which leads to Allah is one, it is what He sent His messengers with, and what He revealed in His books, nobody reaches it except through this way, even if the people were to try and come from every path, and open up every door, the path would be blocked for them, and the doors would be locked, except this single way, for indeed it is connected to Allah leading to Allah]
"Madaarij-Us-Saalikeen" (15/1).

The Allaamah, Zaid Al-Madkhali, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

"Its means [I.e Da'wah] are of two categories:

1- Means which are tools.
2- Knowledge based teaching and conveying means.

Means which are tools: like the means which are a cause for the conveying of the Da'wah, and it spreading, like this what we have infront of us, from tapes and loudspeakers, and other than this, in accordance to times and places". (3)

As for the knowledge based teaching and conveying means: then this is what we say is Tawqeefiyyah, and the meaning of Tawqeefiyyah is:

That there is no room of Ijtihaad in it.

The caller to Allah the mighty and majestic only restricts themselves to the Quranic Methodology and the Biography of the Prophet ﷺ, and the way of the Salaf, thus making the means in giving Da'wah Tawqeefiyyah, and the aims and goals in giving Da'wah all of it Tawqeefiyyah.

As for what is invented of newly introduced ways and introduced means, if they are established upon other than the legislated Methodology, then we don't aprove of this nor do we direct the people to it, its people have used numerous of means, which does bad to the Da'wah and doesn't do good to it, nor does it actualise correction.

This is what the scholars have established, those that are known for sharp understanding in the legislative sciences...". End of speech from "Al-Aqd Al-Muntad Al-Jadeed" (p.111-112)

(3) The basis of this is that it's not Tawqeefiyyah, but if it contains legislative prohibitions, than it becomes the case that it falls under it Tawqeefiyyah, and then it becomes prohibited.

Then how about the calamities of Facebook, and its destructive harms which are inescapable, which makes this fall under the statement of Shaykh Zaid which comes after it:

"As for what is invented of newly introduced ways and introduced means, if they are established upon other than the legislated Methodology, then we don't aprove of this nor do we direct the people to it, its people have used numerous of means, which does bad to the Da'wah and doesn't do good to it, nor does it actualise correction.".
◾️As for what relates to what's taking place in Sudan of conflict for rulership, then this is from the Nawaazil which Allah specified only for the people of Istinbaat (extracting legal rulings) and Rusuukh (well groundedness) in knowledge, and those that are not from them putting themselves forward to speak in these great affairs causes:

Detrimental results.

In what relates to bloodshed, and the safety of a big Muslim population like Sudan, so it is obligatory to return the likes of its affairs to its people, and not to oppress them.

Allah the most high commanded to return these affairs back to the people of knowledge, those that are well grounded, the people of Istinbaat and sharp understanding in the end results of the affairs, and carefulness in the spreading of rulings, and attention the details of what is taking place in these big trials, and scrutinizing to determine the justification for a ruling by discarding insignificant factors and taking into consideration significant factors only, and and applying a general rule to a individual case in what relates this current topic, and other than this of what is from the affair of those that are well grounded in knowledge in these affairs and trials.

Allah the most high said:

(وَإِذَا جَآءَهُمْ أَمْرٌ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْنِ أَوِ ٱلْخَوْفِ أَذَاعُوا۟ بِهِۦۖ وَلَوْ رَدُّوهُ إِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ وَإِلَىٰٓ أُو۟لِى ٱلْأَمْرِ مِنْهُمْ لَعَلِمَهُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَنۢبِطُونَهُۥ مِنْهُمْۗ وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ لَٱتَّبَعْتُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنَ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا)
"And when there comes to them information about [public] security or fear, they spread it around. But if they had referred it back to the Messenger or to those of authority among them, then the ones who [can] draw correct conclusions from it would have known about it. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, you would have followed Satan, except for a few."
[An-Nisa':83]
◾️ The advise which was obligatory to give regarding what's taking place of conflict for rulership, and continuous coupes - this one overthrows this one as is taking place in Sudan -, is the advise which the people of knowledge, those that are well grounded, advise with:

Isolating oneself away from the Fitnah, and turning to what benefits the slaves in their religion and in their worldly life.

The Prophet ﷺ encouraged in many Hadiths, and the Salaf from the Companions and those that came after them, this seclusion in the certain scenarios, and from it is:

Times of trials, and at conflict for rulership.

As he ﷺ encouraged in many Hadiths to abide to the Jamaa'ah, and this is at union and unity of the ranks.

And there isn't any contradiction in this, each has its correct place, as Imam Ibn-Ul-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, in "Al-Furuusiyyah" (270), where he said:

"This [i.e isolation]: during the times of trials and fighting for rulership.

And abiding to the Jamaa'ah: in times of union and unity of the ranks.

And in this the Hadiths of the Prophet which encourage isolation and staying away from fighting, and praised those who don't chose sides with either of the two parties, and his Hadiths wherein he encouraged unity and entering with the people, come together.

This one is during the times of unity, and that is during trials and fighting, and Allah knows best". End of speech.
◾️It has been authentically narrated from the Hadith of Abu Bakrah, may Allah be pleased with him, found in Muslim (2887), he said:

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There will be a period of trials in which the one who sits down will be better than the one walking, and the one who walks is better than the one who is running.

If it descends or it takes place, he who has camels should remain with his camels, he who has sheep should remain with his sheep, and he who has land should remain with his land.

He said: a man said: O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, how about if someone doesn't have camels nor sheep nor land.

He [ﷺ] replied: "He should take his sword, strike its edge on a stone, and then escape if he can, O Allah have I conveyed? O Allah have I conveyed? O Allah have I conveyed?".

He said: then a man said: O Messenger of Allah! How about if I was forced, to the point that someone took me to one of the two rows, or one of the two groups, and a man hit me with his sword or casted an arrow and killed me?

He [ﷺ] said: "He will bear his punishment and that of yours, and he will be from the people of the fire."

And there are other Hadiths in this subject matter.
◾️As for the usage of the verse containing Rome as an evidence in what relates to what is taking place in Türkiye, then from the people of Tafseer are those that say:

The aid of Allah is the manifestation of the truthfulness of the Muslims in what they have informed the Mushriks about: that Rome will overcome Persia, and not being pleased with Rome winning.

So from this angle the usage of the verse of Rome isn't sound here.

And from the people of Tafseer are those that say:

The Muslims are pleased with Allah helping Rome due to them being the people of the book, like the Muslims are people of the book.

Contrary to the Persians, because they don't have a book, for this reason the Mushriks were happy with them winning over Rome.

And those, from the people of knowledge, who took this angle in Tafseer of the verse, they tied the being happy to the wrongdoers overcoming those who do more wrong then them: in that if there was a benefit in them winning for the Muslims.


◾️And what occurs of happiness in this taking place, doesn't necessitate praising the wrongdoer that won, this is an addition which the verse isn't a proof for!

In being happy with that secularist winning doesn't go past being happy for foam bubbles!

As Shaykh Al-Albaani, may Allah have mercy upon him, when news reaches him that the Islamic salvation front party won at parliamentary elections, said:

"These are foam bubbles!!". (4)

Many of those that are attributed to knowledge and Sunnah at the time were happy with them winning in the elections, based upon that in their perception they were better than the others - as those who are deceived with this secularist are thinking - and due to them attributing themselves to Islam rather to Salafiyyah!

So them winning - which people became happy for! - caused great harms to the extent which brings about grey hairs in children, tens of thousand innocent lives were lost, the land went through to a period which was called dark, until now many are experiencing the afflictions of them getting into power - which people were happy for! - which contains lessons for those that are happy with their likes.

How much so did Shaykh Al-Albaani and the people of knowledge those that are well grounded have of insight in the end results of affairs, and the affair belongs to Allah from before and after.

◾️After this what benefits are the Muslims waiting for from this secularist getting to the rulership, it is only the faces that are changing on the chair, Shaykh Muqbil bin Haadi Al-Waadi'i spoke the truth when he said:

"These are satanic elections, they are laughing at our beards, whilst they prepared a president, a vice president and ministers ... So that they are elected and they can have a tool". From "The Harms of Elections" (p.25).

This ˹Secularist Sufi Ikhwaani˺ has been in power for more than twenty years, wherein he proclaimed a war against the Sunnah and its people where he clearly stated that the Wahaabis are an extreme group who don't have anything to do with Islam, and that he is ruling using secularism far away from the religion, and what he portrays of standing besides some Muslim countries, he clearly states that he is not doing so from the angle of religion and Islam, and he uses as an evidence that he is looking after what is his own benefit, even if it was by flattering the Jews and the Raafidah and other enemies of the religion, and many other things.

Shaykh Muqbil bin Haadi Al-Waadi'i, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:

"They said: if we don't elect for a righteous man then a communist will come and pounce upon the rulership!

I say: it's befitting that we benefit from what has been previously experienced ...

As for them saying: a communist will pounce on the elections!

I say to them: what did you do in previous elections?! We believe in Allah and we disbelieved in Democracy...". From "The Harms of Elections" (p.26).
◾️As for what relates to the president of Uganda, then this aforementioned supplication for this Nasraani, even though it is permitted by more than one of the people of knowledge due to a benefit.

But if the benefit was countered by a harm of the same degree - let alone by one who overrides the benefit - then the legislation rules with not taking it into consideration, by unanimous agreement of the scholars, as mentioned by Ash-Shaatibi and others.

And when reflecting over the apparent if this wording [May Allah reward him with good], it contains the usage of the word [good] unrestrictedly, what enters into what's understood from this is good relating the hereafter, and this is legislatively prohibited.

The legislation came prohibiting ambiguous wording which carry wrongful meanings, even if the one who said it intended a good meaning. As found in the discouragement by Allah exalted is He and the most high, of the Companions from saying their statement:

(يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَقُولُوا۟ رَٰعِنَا)
"O you who have believed, say not [to Allah 's Messenger], (Ra'ina)"
[Al-Baqarah:104]


Whilst their intent was sound, now how about other than them, which is the affair which necessitates keeping away from this supplication, out of closing the means.

Even upon the position of it being permitted, there isn't in the action of the president of Uganda what legislatively makes it appropriate of him deserving to be thanked, and the view of this caller stops at the law which he legislated, whereby this part of the law deceived him, the part which includes a prohibition of homosexuality and lesbianism, and calling to it, and he overlooked the other part which includes approval of the crime of being gay.

So the correct thing to be said regarding this law which he legislated is:

May Allah not reward him with good for his approval of being gay.
As for him prohibiting homosexuality and lesbianism, whilst approving being gay and making it from the permissible affairs, this is a contradiction to the utmost extent, and its from playing with the people's intellect which is employed by many of the weak politicians to direct the people's eyes towards them, and at the last hurdle they fall to the pressure of the west which they can't bare, to which they become - per the words of the politicians - a lesson for those who think about clashing with them!

And what's called "being gay" by the west is: one type of sexual deviancy which involves the presence of romantic feelings and physical attraction to a member of the same sex, and the desire to have sexual relations with them. End of speech.

So how do they approve this being gay which in our true legislation is:

The basis of the calamity of homosexuality and lesbianism, and every lowly act, and from the greatest of things bringing about the corruption of the religion and societies, and exiting the natural predisposition, and changing the creation of Allah, and a call to the end of mankind.

Then after this he suffices with prohibiting what this being gay necessitates, whilst it is from its aim and goals which are chosen by those animals - and they are worse - when they want to be gay?!

So his affair became as it's said:

He threw him tied up into the river and said --- beware beware of getting wet by the water.
◾️After this my advice to myself firstly, and to the person this speech belongs to -may Allah grant us and him success- and to those this speech of mine reaches, is to adhere to the legislative means of Da'wah which the evidences of the Book and the Sunnah and the Salafi Manhaj point towards, in it is Barakah with the permission of Allah, the Da'wah of the scholars of the Sunnah and its callers has become widespread -before the introduction of these calamities- in all corners of the world, and Allah degreed acceptance for it due to their sincerity and there adherence to the legislative avenues, these are their books and their remnants which are found in the houses of the Muslims.

So what's requested from the caller to Allah is uprightness upon the religion of Allah and putting effort in the legislative avenues in their Da'wah and directing the people to what is of their correction and success, and to direct them to what is far away from what busies them from the affair which doesn't contain no benefit, which only contain wasting, when following up on news relating to the politics of lies.

As for the success of the people, and their getting insight into the truth, and exiting them out of the darkness and into the light:

[This type of guidance isn't even for an angel which is near, or a prophet which was sent]

As mentioned by Ibn-Ul-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, in "Shifaa-ul-Aleel" (p.96).

◾️So don't busy yourself, O caller to Allah, away from what you have been commanded with, in what isn't up to you nor what you have been burdened with.

And to turn away from the way of those Ibn-Ul-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy upon him, said regarding:

They ran away from enslavement to the one they were created for --- and they accepted to being enslaved to the nafs and the Shaytaan.
◾️ Don't be, O caller to Allah, like a candle burning themselves when being a light to others.

But be like a palm tree in it being a benefit, and it being far above what's lowly and harmful, and whoever throws a stone at it, it throws fresh fruits back at them..

◾️And stay away, O caller to Allah, to the furthest extent from this path, and don't open up a door to this pristine Da'wah to its enemies which are lying in wait against it, who will take the likes of these disfiguring mistakes as a means to assault Ahlussunnah, thus you become a means for the forsaking of the truth and its people, so it is obligatory to close this door from these affairs, as to safeguard the truth and its people.

◾️And we don't have doubt that a number of those that fall into this from Ahlussunnah, have a good intent and want to do good, but as it's said by Ibn Mas'uud, may Allah have mercy upon him:

"How many who want good don't reach it".

◾️And it is upon my brothers that are asking and those that my speech reaches, to adhere to the well grounded scholars in the likes of these trials, and to refer the affair back to them in Nawaazil, as Allah the most high commanded them to, not to those whose branches haven't yet become solid and haven't become well grounded like they have, because indeed this is the way to making mistakes and falling into what the end result thereof isn't praiseworthy.
◾️And to not make Facebook and YouTube and other calamities, a means to seek the truth and to aid it, and to seek insight to falsehood and to refute it,  because indeed:

[This knowledge is religion so look at he who you take your religion from]

As mentioned by Ibn Sireen and others from the Salaf, may Allah have mercy upon them.

And there is nothing besides this except doubtful whispers from the Shayateen, and Allah the most high said:

(يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ فِى ٱلسِّلْمِ كَآفَّةً وَلَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ خُطُوَٰتِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ)
"O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely [and perfectly] and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy."
[Al-Baqarah:208]

{As for taking from the scholars of the Sunnah} and its callers in the Markaz's of the Sunnah and the Daar's of Guidance, then lick the honey and don't ask about it (i.e take knowledge from them without worrying), may Allah grant you success to whet is your guidance, so that you may drink from the Prophetic inheritance in its pure state, otherwise let he who wishes to cry: cry over the religion} (5).

Allah the guide and the one who grants success to the right path.

239◾️Supplication of Asking and Supplication of Worship and its relation to Shirk◾️

Answered by Shaykh Abu Hatim Yusuf Al-'Inaabi Al-Jazaa'iree - may Allaah preserve him -

📥Question:

Is all of Supplicating of Asking to other than Allah Shirk?

And is likewise Supplication of Worship all of it Shirk also?

📤Answer:

Supplication as it is known, splits up into two categories:

The first:

Supplication of Worship, like:

Fasting, the prayer, and other actions of worship, if a person prays or fasts, then they have supplicated their Lord by way condition to forgive them, and to spare them from His punishment, and to granted His gifts, and this is regarding the basis of the prayer, as it also includes supplicating by way of uttering of the tongue, what points to this category is the statement of the Most High:

(وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ٱدْعُونِىٓ أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِى)
"And your Lord said: "Invoke Me, [i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islâmic Monotheism) and ask Me for anything] I will respond to your (invocation). Verily! Those who scorn My worship [i.e. do not invoke Me, and do not believe in My Oneness, (Islâmic Monotheism)]"
[Ghafir:60]

Thus making supplication worship.

And this category is all Shirk, whoever redirects anything of the types of worship to other than Allah, then they fell into disbelief, the type which of disbelief which expels from the realm of Islam.

If a person was to make Rukuu' or prostrate to something venerating it, like the veneration of Allah in this Rukuu' or prostration, then they would be a Mushrik, for this the Prophet ﷺ forbade to bow when meeting someone, when asked about a man bowing for his brother when meeting him?, He said: "No".

Contrary to what some of the ignorant folk do when they give you Salam they bow to you, it is a must that all those that believe in Allah to rebuke it, because you are being venerates on account of their religion.

The second:

The Supplication of Asking:

This is not all Shirk, rather it contains elaboration:

-If the creation was capable of it, then it isn't Shirk.

Like saying: pour me water to those that are able to it.

He ﷺ said:

(من دعاكم فأجيبوه)
"Whoever requests from you respond to them".

And the Most High said:

(وَإِذَا حَضَرَ ٱلْقِسْمَةَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينُ فَٱرْزُقُوهُم مِّنْهُ)
"And when [other] relatives and orphans and the needy are present at the [time of] division, then provide for them something out of it"
[An-Nisaa':8]

And if a poor person extended their hand and said: "provide for me provision", i.e give me, then this isn't Shirk, as the Most High said:

(فَٱرْزُقُوهُم مِّنْهُ)
"then provide for them something out of it"
[An-Nisaa':8].

-As for the creation being requested for what none is capable to do except Allah, then their request is Shirk which expels from the realm of Islam, an example of this is:

For a person to be requested to bring down rain believing that they are able to do so.

End of speech from Al-Qowlul-Mufeed Ala Kitaabit-Tawheed, by Shaykh Ibn Utheymeen, may Allah have mercy upon him.

327◾️Wiping out pictures◾️

Answered by Shaykh Abu Hatim Yusuf Al-'Inaabi Al-Jazaa'iree - may Allah preserve him -

📥Question:

What's the criterium of wiping out the face?

Isn't it by covering the face with a covering, or a coat of paint, or other than this?

Or is it a must that the head is removed?

📤Answer:

It has come in Sahih Muslim that the Prophet ﷺ sent Ali and told him to not leave a picture except that he wiped it out.

And this wiping out is the removal of the presence of something, as it comes in "An-Nihaayah" by Ibn Al-Atheer.

The wiping out of a book is by erasing it, and the wiping out of the picture is by removal of the head or the changing of the faces, or by scratching it, or by smearing something on it which will change the features and remove it, and make it go away, each accordingly.

And mere covering it isn't wiping out linguistically, nor legislatively.

And the Prophet ﷺ when he entered the Ka'bah, he found therein a picture of Ibraheem and Ismaeel drawing lots with divination arrows, to which he requested a water vessel and removed it.

This clarifies the meaning of the command of wiping out pictures.

328◾️Football tournaments and food fundraising to help the Masjid◾️

Answered by Shaykh Abu Hatim Yusuf Al-'Inaabi Al-Jazaa'iree - may Allah preserve him -

📥Question:

A question from Britain regarding brothers in some Masjids held a sports tournament whereby each Masjid has its own team, and each team places some money down and then at the end of the tournament they donate that money to some Masjids to buy land.

What's the ruling of this?

📤Answer:

Allah the mighty and majestic said in His noble book:

(يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ إِنَّآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ شَٰهِدًا وَمُبَشِّرًا وَنَذِيرًا ۝ وَدَاعِيًا إِلَى ٱللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِۦ وَسِرَاجًا مُّنِيرًا)
"O Prophet, indeed We have sent you as a witness and a bringer of good tidings and a warner.

And one who invites to Allah, with His permission, and an illuminating lamp.".
[Al-Ahzab:45-46]

This verse, and other than this of the evidences, are the decisive ruling in this subject matter, and that every action which taken as a means in Da'wah, is a must that it's based upon the book of Allah and the Sunnah of the His Prophet ﷺ and what the Salaf of this Ummah were upon, may Allah be pleased with them.

This Da'wah is the Da'wah of Allah the mighty and majestic, and there is nobody who is an authority in the religion of Allah; who can invent a way or a means in Da'wah, regardless if it was to donate money for a Masjid, or other than this, of affairs which fall under taking means to making Da'wah to Allah, and His worship.

It is a must that the means are legislated, and for the means to be legislated it is a must that it based upon one of three affairs, as mentioned by Shaykh-Ul-Islaam may Allah have mercy upon him, in "Al-Iqtidaa Us-Siraatil-Mustaqeem", that something isn't given the ruling of being legislated except that it based upon the Book of Allah, and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ or what was from the Manhaj of the Salaf.

For this reason the people of knowledge mention as a principle:

"The means to do Da'wah are Tawqeefiyyah".

What they intend in the means of Da'wah is, the means of teaching conveying giving directions, Da'wah; i.e not the affairs which are from the tools, this doesn't enter into this, like using a microphone in Da'wah, to relay the sermons, lectures.

This also is called "means to do Da'wah" by people, but it's a means which are tools, these tools the ruling of it is that it's permissible except if proofs point to that it's impermissible then it falls under it being Tawqeefiyyah.

Television is from the tools which are means, but when it involved impermissible affairs; picture taking and other than this, Tawqeef came and it is made impermissible.

A few days ago we spoke regarding Facebook, Facebook is from the means which are tools, but it contains impermissible affairs, none enter into Facebook except that they are faced with harms which are inescapable.

But now the speech on the means of Da'wah, which are worship, gathering money for a Masjid, this is an affair related to Da'wah, this is clear that it contains worship, and because this is the case it is a must that it contains proofs which point to it.

If we were to look at the proofs of the Book and the Sunnah, we don't find the likes this way established in the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ.
